Juniata County Industrial Park
The Juniata County Industrial Park is located just outside Mifflintown and perfectly located adjacent to Route 22/322. The present Park has four lots remaining available for businesses to locate. The lots are in Phase 3 of the Park which was built in 1998. The shovel ready lots are on the average of 3 acres with an average price of only $25,000 per acre with all infrastructure to the sites. In spring and summer of 2021 Juniata Business & Industrial will have the 1st phase of a new Business Park built which will be adjacent to the present Industrial Park. The new park will have 12 shovel ready lots ranging between from 1.2 to 3.3 acres. The new sites will have all the infrastructure including Fiber-Optic internet and probable natural gas availability. KOZ – Keystone Opportunity Zone The KOZ is a tax free incentive program. Businesses buying land and locating in a KOZ will have most Township, County, School and State taxes waved for a specific period. The four lots remaining in Phase 3 will be tax free through the end of 2023. Land in the new Business Park will be tax free through the 2028 year. Location Juniata County is situated in Central Pennsylvania, about midway between State College and Harrisburg. Its convenient location allows businesses to service customers throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and other Mid-Atlantic States. U.S. Route 322 bisects the County to reach points North and South, allowing connectivity to the East and West, connecting to Interstate Routes 80, 81, and 99. Mifflintown, the County Seat, is less than an hour from Harrisburg and State College. The County is also within two to three hours of Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Baltimore and just three and a half hours from New York City.
